    Hello,

    I'm new here.. I'm new in MySQL world :)

    I have 3 root users:

    user / server
    root 127.0.0.1
    root ::1
    root localhost

    Can someone explain me, why I have 3 root users, which is correctly, must need all of them? Which I have to adjust to change root password?

    BTW.:
    - I have about 100 users (100 databases) and everyone has:
    somename - localhost
    somename - %

    What mean % and localhost?

    Many thanks.

    This is really not an Adminer related question but…

    127.0.0.1 and ::1 could be used if connecting through TCP instead of a socket. I suggest deleting them as localhost should be used as a fallback.

    somename@% means that the user can connect from anywhere. This could be a security risk and you usually want a user to connect only from one host.
