Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Paul Bowden (phib) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Make quantities editable in "Create lines from" Initial Comment: When creating an invoice or material receipt using the VCreate* forms users must currently select the relevant lines in the form, hit OK to insert the lines into the invoice/receipt and then go into each line to edit/update the quantities if required. It would be much more usable if the user could select the line in the form, and immediately edit the quantity field, so that the line would be created with the correct quantity. I have written a simple patch (attached) which does this, however I need a little help finishing it... I have two problems: 1) The quantity field becomes editable when the selection box for a given line is ticked. However the field remains greyed out until it gets focus -- it would be clearer to the user if the quantity field showed it was editable as soon as the line is selected. 2) If you edit a quantity and _don't_ move the focus off the field before hitting the OK button, the original quantity is transferred to the lines, rather than the entered one. If any one has any hints for how to solve this, I'd appreciate it...
