Hello, can I be of any assistance for testing?,.. I will keep watching for things to do. I may be a little slow at times depending on work and the state of my systems. I have included some information about adapters available to me, Adapters I presently have to test are, a pcmcia Atheros adapter DWL-G650, an Airstation PCMCIA PCI bridge (just the bridge), two DWL-520+ cards (acx), some Hawking 54G cards (can't remember which computer they were in but they were either RA, ACX or PrismGT), possibly another card. I have a bluetooth adapter too if anyone wants to try some standards mixing.. in addition to the above I can halfinch some usb pen style adapters I have seen around, a pcmcia adapter probably containing the realtek wifi chip, an unknown chipset access point with WPA and WDS In this building there is an operational prism based access point, I know already that the acx100 in this computer works with this access point in its present wep 128 configuration. now that I have listed the above you know what I am able to attempt to use for testing and can give me instructions if you know what needs to be tested, in case you are interested what I would like to do with some of the hardware I mentioned is create a local Metropolitan Area Network (I have some high gain omni directional antenna). to this end Master mode and ess features for WDS or else some other meshing system are of importance to me. Of equal importance is getting the card to work with etherboot if at all possible (it has been achieved with prism from what i hear, but I don't know if that card needed firmware and so on).
