If i run acpid the following strange behaviour occurs.

Pressing sleep causes my portable to sleep. After waking up it
immediately hibernates. But only if I run acpid (1.0.2)
Kernel is 2.6.9

OK. As I found out updating to 1.0.4 helps here. So no more problem
    exist.

Well surprisingly it reappeared again with acpid-1.0.4.
I forgot that I used an older kernel that time.

If I have acpid running and use either variante to sleep
    - echo mem > /sys/power/state
    - echo 3 > /proc/acpi/sleep
    - Press the sleep button (BUTTON/SLEEP)

the computer hibernates right after it wakes up from sleeping.

Waking up from hibernation works correct.
Without acpid it works also correct.

Maybe it's also a kernel bug sending a hibernation signal as soon as it
    wakes up from sleep.

    Greetings
    Tom

Do you need further information? (mine might be a little bit caotic so
    far) just ask for it...

I bet that if you look at the acpid logs, you'll find that
the event was delivered again after waking up. Possibly in
a slightly different form, which would suggest the regex
    needs tweaking.
