I've just installed SuSE 9.1 and with the 184.108.40.206(52?) kernel that
comes with it, my Evo n410c does lots of breaking.
Basically, none of the fans are found and it just gets really hot before
I've read Hugo's page at Larve.net, but that seems to be over a year
old. I'm going to try an updated bios, but I'm wondering if anybody has
a working dsdt for this box?
Also, do the instructions
(acpidump,disasemble,fix,reassemble,merge,compile) still apply for 2.6
I know less about ASM than I do about Islands in the Pacific - would
anybody be able to assist?
All the best,

I have evo560 (?), and it had fan problems, too.
After bios update and with new acpi, it works better.
Still acpid sometimes spins making machine hardly usable.
