Hi,

Debian sid (amd64)
Linux 2.6.13
acidrip 0.14 (package from Christian Marillat)
mencoder from latest cvs

The command issued to mencoder contains something like:

... -ovc xvid -xvidencopts bitrate=737:pass=2 -vf
crop=704:544:8:16,scale=480:-2 ...

Where this is only "bitrate=" and "pass=" as suboptions
of -xvidencopts, then there is a leading columns ':'
before "birtrate=".

This is correctly parsed by mencoder cvs version older
than 20051011 but new ones gives the following error:

Option xvidencopts: Unknown suboption

Exiting... (error parsing cmdline)

Removing the leading ':' and running the same command
in a shell allows to encode correctly the file.

Regards

Jean-Luc

I've splitted the way the xvid options are written and
    conditionnaly added the offending one.
