I am on Win 2000 with Visual C++.
When I try to compile in line mode in a Dos window as follows
1) nmake -f acdk_core.nmake install
2) nmake -f acdk_core.nmake
I get the messages:
Could not find the file alloca.h
Could not find the file pthread.h
Could not find the file gc.h
Could not find the file semaphore.h
Could not find the file task.h

This is a bug in Visual Studio, pre-parsing
the header files for looking for depencies (if x.c includes x.h and x.h is younger then x.obj the x.c has to be recompiled.)
The headers, which cannot be found are included, if you compile ACDK for Unix platform, for WIN32-Platform they are not needed and not really included (#if defined(ACDK_OS_UNIX) #include ... #endif)
The dependency checker of Visual studio doesn't evaluate these conditional includes not properly.
Just ignore these messages; after checking the depencies ACDK should compile.
