  • FlexWiki 1.8.0.1739 Released

    This is largely a bugfix release for FlexWiki 1.8. FlexWiki 1.8 is the last version that will be released for ASP.NET 1.1 - current work is against the 2.0 branch. However, the 2.0 code is still in alpha state, so 1.8.0.1739 is the recommended, official release of FlexWiki.

  • FlexWiki 1.8.0.1696 Released

    This release is primarily a bugfix release, although several minor
    features have been added. Basically, the fixes were piling up, and we
    were telling people "go download the latest interim build" often
    enough that we decided just to make it official. Highlights of this
    build include:

    * At long last the death of the "incorrect wiki links" bug, where
    FlexWiki emitted links that corresponded to the first hit after
    startup. This most frequently manifested itself as links pointing to
    "localhost" even when the web server was accessed remotely.
    * Null edits are now ignored.
    * Slight performance enhancements, including the ability to turn off
    performance counters (which can cause large delays on some
    installations) via the DisablePerformanceCounters switch.
    * Form support in WikiTalk

    And much more.

    those who reported bugs!

  • FlexWiki 1.8.0.1677 released

    to the many contributors who wrote all these goodies in their spare
    time.

    * Added support for colored text via the %color% tag.

    * A completely rearchitected storage engine that allows for pluggable
    stores.

    * An implementation of the pluggable storage engine that allows a
    namespace to be stored in SQL Server.

    * RSS feed format improvements.

    * A new URL scheme. Topics can now be accessed using URLs like
    http://www.flexwiki.com/default.aspx/Namespace/TopicName

    * Fixed newsletter functionality.

    * Improved anti-spam technology, like nofollow support and URL
    blacklisting.

    * Improved testing - the automated build installs FlexWiki and
    verifies correct behavior via a browser.

    * Support for page and page fragment templates.

    * Many WikiTalk improvements, including improvements to forms-building
    support.

    * Improved support for Windows 2000 installation.

    * Support for setting page title using page's Title property.

    * Better support for Firefox.

    * Support for "breadcrumb" functionality to display user's
    most-recently-visited pages in a sidebar.

  • FlexWiki 1.8.1613.0 Released

    This release contains several major enhancements to FlexWiki, the most significant of which is improved FireFox compatibility. Other important enhancements include the addition of a "Cancel" button to the edit page, a history list to show the most recently visited topics, improved support for non-ASCII characters, and WikiTalk enhancements.
