BlueList revived
;) I stopped updating the SF site because of bugs and the inability to get something done here. SF seems to have become stable again (crosses fingers) and I can again update the site with fresh software.
A fair amount has changed in the software since I last updated it here. Small changes have occured over the past few years and BlueList has entered another growth spurt.
Check the home page ( http://blue-labs.org/software/BlueList/ ) for more detailed information and if you feel like checking out developer versions of code, PLEASE use the Blue Labs SVN URL. The BL SVN is always going to be more current than the SF repository and you can get immediate changes vs. waiting for the SF cycle.

New items of interest for BlueList are the further development of GPG (PGP) hooks for signing/encrypting emails, bug fixes, (new bugs added), and attention given to feature implementation and enhancements that I have long promised.
ciao,
david

What's going on
Ok, current things on the plate. I've re-implemented MIME parsing again. This is the most clean method so far and I'm pretty happy with it. I've tidied up a lot of cruft here and there and made the logic more conceptually stable. I've started doing some flowcharts which I'll put up on the website, I won't include them in CVS because they're pretty big and not necessary for building/using BlueList. BlueList is set to become the #1 mailing list software ahead of GNU Mailman if I work just a wee bit harder. I have to kind of laugh at that because SF stats are really broken and worthless. The counting of page hits and downloads is really broken (I measured w/ scripts), but oh well. Please visit the homepage for BlueList for the most current information, there's more there than is in this quick note.

A note on BlueList
The new postgres code is coming along well, BlueList is capable of using psql for antispam control. It's doing quite nicely and I've just added counters so you can monitor which regexes are hit most often. Please keep up to date at http://blue-labs.org/BlueList/. I update the ChangeLog and release version on the front page every few days but I tend to do work on BlueList every day.

Website update
The BlueList homepage, http://blue-labs.org/software/BlueList has been revamped with a lot more documentation online and in a much more eye pleasing form.

BlueList version bump - 0.2.0
BlueList is stepping into the SQL arena. I'm releasing a 0.2.0 version to reflect the significant code changes in the past months.
