1.7.0 extend issue filter + calendar / upgrade configuration screen
1.8.0 facelift DHTML menu and login system / review of roles & etc
1.9.0 facelift DHTML issue view (JIRA-like) and e-mail notification
2.0.0 issues tree + plain tags
2.1.0 built-in wiki
2.2.0 built-in sample/production database (by Derby or HypersonicSQL)
2.3.0 built-in jabber server + notifications via jabber
2.x.x dynamic queries for issues (using Hibernate's HQL)
Of course, deadlines are hardly to set up at the moment. I'll be happy bunny if we'll have 2.0.0 in beta on April 2007 and 2.3.0 on July 2007.

New breath to Elips
Hello All!
As I've proposed to Xavier I'll be the one who will take care of Elips management and development.
What I'm going to do is:
1) try to move to Hibernate and ease database support effort;
2) make maven2 and some wiki (may be JspWiki) integration (or create basic wiki functionality in Elips);
3) enhance core functionality as a bug-tracker and development management system;
4) (probably) create Elips + Tomcat + some embedded db as an "up-and-run" package
I'll be happy to hear from you, what features you'd like to see in Elips, your ideas and suggestions. My e-mail is adrozdov2005 [at] gmail.com.
I have company Emark Technology onboard to support this initiatives and some time and money to improve this software I like so much.

Elips waiting for new breath...
Hello,
I've stopped to work on Elips because on my personal agenda which is too busy :-(
The project in its current form is usable and even quite intersting on many manners.
If someone want ot follow the work and even take in charge the project , he/she is welcome... Send me an email to xavier.mehaut at free.fr...
There is a fork in CVS which is called GIM , which is a subset of Elips working only (not tested) whith MySQL.
