SFSetup finally works on Windows 2000
Today Russell Phillips submitted a patch that allows SFSetup, the popular automatic setup tool for SourceForge on Microsoft platforms, to work with Windows 2000 and hopefully XP too (fingers crossed!)
This has to be one of the longest running bugs in creation, but now it's fixed hopefully the large body of Win2K users will finally be able to easily utilise the services available here at SourceForge :)
thanks -mike

Intel version of SSH available
Hi there, I've recently been asked to provide the version of SSH that comes with my SFSetup utility separately as it's difficult to track down on the internet. It's now available as a separate package on the SFSetup homepage.
thanks -mike

CVS tutorials now available
Tutorials on how to use and setup CVS on windows platforms are now available on the SFSetup website (sfsetup.sourceforge.net). I've had quite a few emails from people confused about how to use or setup CVS for SourceForge so hopefully these documents will help people do these things. I may write more tutorials covering advanced CVS topics if they go down well so go get 'em

SourceForge setup v1.2 released
SFSetup v1.2 is now available for download. It has bug fixes and support for WinCVS 1.1.x (sorry to all those who have had to wait a long time for it - i've been really busy recently).
SFSetup automatically sets up CVS and SSH on Windows platforms. It's written by Michael Hearn (mhearn@subdimension.com) - you can get it at http://sfsetup.sourceforge.net

Bug fixed
A bug that caused immediate closure if an error was encountered with no message has been fixed. If the program just closed when you clicked start and nothing happened try this version to see the error message.
sorry- mike
