Custom is an E-Commerce system providing Ordering and Invoicing, Stock, Supplier, and Catalogue Management. Easily customisable, it is written in Python for use as CGI scripts (under Apache or any other Web server) with a simple example site and example database. Custom is intended as a modern replacement for Sage.
Changes to 0.6: Added product reconciliation scripts. Stock from different suppliers often has the same name: managing a database with thousands of products, the duplicates quickly get out of hand. The reconciliation scripts resolve duplicates.

custom is an e-commerce solution for small to medium-sized
businesses that provides:

Point-of-Sale staff to place orders
- for warehouse staff to manage stock
- for accountants and sales staff to manage and generate invoices
- for purchasing managers to keep track of suppliers and
competitive pricing.
Custom is written exclusively in Python, yet you can easily modify the HTML templates - which are written in HTML not Python - to suit your own web site design and requirements.
