The Visual IP 2.0 beta version was released. Besides improving the interface and fixing many bugs I have included a user manual that should be very useful for starters on how to use the system!

Here are the improvements in the latest Version.

-- Tool Bar at the top:
1. The "Clear All" button is working, this wipes both pages
2. Improved PDF file

-- SAT-RMTP Page:
1. Representation of Data Packet Blocks seems OK.
However, I still could not identify which are original packets,
which are retransmitted packets. So now the blocks show like this:
>Green: all packets are ok, and unique
>Orange: all packets are ok, enough to recover from extra packets
>Blue: not enough packets, means the total number is less than k
>Red: no packet received in that block at all ... read more

Version 2.0 of Visual IP has big improvements over previous versions.
Visual IP is a network protocol analyzer that works in any operating system with a java VM. At the moment it only allows you to examine data from the disk, and created by tcpdump. You can interactively browse the capture data, viewing summary and get al those useful details
