Changes since beta 2:
- First Draft of the new User Guide included.
- Added a systemwide hot key for changing the Desktop picture. The key combo is cmd-shift-1 (and no it can't be changed).
- The Remote Access service has been updated to display the info. of the current song playing in iTunes.
- Remote Access will compress content using GZIP if the client browser supports it (anything Mozilla based).
- The Remote Access service can now be reconfigured (or shut down) without having to stop the Daemon. Simply make your changes, save them and the Remote Access service will properly reconfigure itself.
-Fixed several minor bugs.

Daemon
- The Remote Access service has been updated with an option to take screenshots of your main monitor. This
screenshot can then be used in place of the actual desktop picture. There are options to control when new snapshots are taken (default is anytime the Desktop pic changes), and if the snapshot should be scaled.
- Added an option to use the new Remote Access screenshot in place of the current desktop pic when Publishing pictures.
- Implemented RFE #664211. The Publish Desktop service will now upload files with a temporary name and then rename the file once the transfer has completed. This should prevent corrupted pictures do to others reading the file while the Publish service is modifying it.
-The Finder is no longer required by the Daemon. If the Finder (specifically its PID) could not be found at launch time, the Daemon will revert to modifying the Desktop file directly. This should allow people using Path Finder to run without the Finder while using ChangeDesktop.
-Fixed a bug in the WebPics service that could cause newly downloaded pictures to be missed until the next cache refresh cycle.
-Fixed a bug in the Publish Desktop service that was causing it to fail with certain servers (in particular, the new FTPD included in OS X 10.2).
ChangeDesktop
- New About Box.
- Updated the Remote Access and Publish tabs for the corresponding new Daemon options.
- Partially implemented RFE #608988. You can now drag pictures onto ChangeDesktop's Dock icon and then copy or move them to a managed folder (the Daemon must be running and only active folders are available).
