IceWM Control Panel version 3.2 is now available. IceWM Control Panel (IceWMCP) is a collection of many tools for configuring IceWM, X Windows, and your system in general. IceWM Control Panel currently supports the following languages: English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Traditional Chinese, and Russian.
Here are the latest changes to IceWM Control Panel: This release patches bugs that many users of Python 2.3 experienced. Support has been added for the latest features of IceWM 1.2.14 / 1.2.15. A French translation has been added, and the Russian translation has been updated. The IceMe menu editor now saves non-English characters in the menu file correctly.

New Plugin Available: IceWMCP Tray Icon
The new IceWMCP-TrayIcon plugin is now available for download.
IceWMCP Tray Icon: A tray icon for 'icewmtray' providing quick access to all IceWMCP configuration tools. Written in C, it makes a great taskbar applet for IceWM. It shows a small icon in the 'icewmtray' system tray for quick access to all IceWMCP programs for easily configuring IceWM. IceWMCP-TrayIcon is known to work on IceWM (version 1.2.10+) but should also work with Gnome-2, KDE-3, and any other window manager with a NETWM/FreeDesktop.org-compliant tray notification area. The IceWMCP Tray Icon plugin is written in C, not Python. Requirements: You need Gtk+-2 version 2.0.6 or better and IceWM version 1.2.10 or better WITH the 'icewmtray' program built, installed, and running on your system. If the 'icewmtray' program is not currently running, you will need to start it before the IceWMCP-TrayIcon will work.

IceWM Control Panel version 3.1 is now available. IceWM Control Panel (IceWMCP) is a collection of many tools for configuring IceWM, X Windows, and your system in general. IceWM Control Panel currently supports the following languages: English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Traditional Chinese, and Russian.
Here are the latest changes to IceWM Control Panel: This release is the first stable PyGtk-2 port of IceWM Control Panel. A partial French translation has been added. A major installation bug has been fixed, and major bugs in the PangoXLFD module which could lead to complete application crashes have been fixed. Major features have been added to IceMe, and a bug preventing copying and pasting of text has been fixed. Several bugs have been fixed within other applications, including a bug associated with the launching of external processes.

French Translation Help Needed!
A French translation of IceWM Control Panel (about 60% complete) has just been added by Yves Perraudin (yploglib ['at'] free.fr).
Help is needed: Yves Perraudin is still working on the translation and welcomes help from other French speakers: Completion of the IcePref2 translation (about 50% so far), completion of the IceSoundManager translation (about 80% so far), completion of the main IceWMCP translations (about 90% so far), .cpl applets, and Help files.
