Closing trackers
The KWiFiManager has moved to KDE (kdenetwork) since a very long time now and people are using the KDE Bug Tracking System on bugs.kde.org. So I have just closed the Bugs, Patches and Feature Requests trackers.
The Support Request tracker is still open since bugs.kde.org doesn't offer this.
In related news: I don't know why there are still 10 downloads a day of the old 1.0.2 version of KWiFiManager. Have you people looked at the release date? Stop using this version, it is all in core KDE.

SourceForge download problems
The newly released KWiFiManager 1.0.2 is not available from all SourceForgfe mirrors momentarily, probably due to some SF-internal problems.
You should use either the mirror "UNC (US)" or download the file directly from http://kwifimanager.sourceforge.net

CVS codebase now links against libiw.so
For better managability of the code and flexibility of use, nearly all code fragments that were re-implemented in my code before are now taken from the wireless-tools shared library. Therefore, to compile the current CVS code, you will have to have a proper installation of the wireless tools.

Major code reorganisation
The code in the kwifimanager CVS is undergoing major changes. Most importantly: the KCModule has found its way into the official KDE sources and will be released with KDE 3.2.
Therefore, the subdir kcmodule is obsolete here in the SF CVS.
You can find the code in kdenetwork/wifi in the KDE sources in the future.
The second major change is the applet: it has vanished, the functionality is now in the main app and implemented via KSystemTray. This greatly improves managability of the code.
