OpenSim 3D robotics simulator: dev sources snapshot release
I've posted my latest source snapshot for the project in the file area for anyone interested in browsing/scavenging.
There are the beginnings of a manual, but building it will still be a challenge without many docs (and requoires building some library dependencies - such as OSG).
The graphics is still pretty basic (- only primitive shapes and no terrain collision, shadows etc. yet).
Main changes: switched from GLOW to GTKmm GUI; now using boost-build; many minor bug fixes.

The collision system API was reorganized to separate it out.
There are the beginnings of a manual, but building it will still be a challenge without many docs (it also depends on the latest CVS versions of OSG and ODE).
The graphics is still pretty basic (- only primitive shapes and no terrain collision, shadows etc. yet).

Inverse kinematics is now implemented, along with XML file formats for specifying simple environments, robots, manipulators and tools. There isn't much in the way of documentation, so building it will still be a challenge (e.g. it depends on the latest CVS versions of OSG and ODE).

I've put up my latest development CVS snapshot. Not much new functionality, just plenty of reorganisation. Still very early days.
