  • 2.1.4 (beta) has been released

I'm happy to announce that release 2.1.4 aka 2.2.0 beta is out. We ask
our users to test the changes made in the last few years. This beta will
be available for about two months, whereafter 2.2.0 will be released.
Helping us to test version 2.1.4 now, can avoid problems when you
finally update your fpc-version to 2.2.0.

    Greetings

    Joost
(on behalf of the whole FPC team)

  • Free Pascal Compiler 2.0.4 released

FPC is a 32/64-bit Pascal Compiler for AmigaOS, DOS, Linux, *BSD, OS/2, Mac OS (X) and Win32.

Another, and possibly the final, bugfix release of the FPC 2.0.x branch. Again a release with many bugfixes and some small new features. More details can be found in the What's New document.

  • FPC 2.0.2 released

Free Pascal 2.0.2 has been released. This is mainly a bug fix release to 2.0.0.

Due to the tedious and time consuming process (which I prefer to spent in coding) of releasing files at SF, only the most important release files are available here. Get the complete release files on the FPC ftp site.

  • Free Pascal Compiler 2.0 Released!

After a 5 years waiting period, the 2.0 version of Free Pascal has finally arrived!

Free Pascal is a self contained 32/64 bit Pascal compiler that focusses on the Borland Pascal dialects including Delphi. It's available for many OSes (win32, Linux, FreeBSD, OS X, Classic Mac OS and OS/2).

The package also includes a vast set of libraries and header conversions. An attempt at a RAD is done by the separate Lazarus project, which is increasingly succesful.

Supported architectures by this release: x86, x86_64, PowerPC, Sparc and Arm..
