  • xstress version 0.375 beta released

    Version 0.375 beta is a major bug-fix release. Mails were not being sent if Authentication information was not being specified.

    Thanks to George Stathakopoulos for testing xstress 0.37 beta out and letting me know about this problem.

    0.375 is still a beta release but better tested than 0.37 beta release.

    It would be great if you test out this latest release and let the author know about any problems.

    You may also write in with praises :) , comments or criticism. It is always good to know that people are using xstress.

  • xstress 0.37 beta with authentication support released.

    An update to xstress is now available. The latest 0.37 beta version has some new interesting feature additions. Authentication is now supported by xstress. Although this release supports only AUTH PLAIN mechanism. Development for AUTH LOGIN and CRAM-MD5 is underway.The new version also supports a way to view Client-Server traffic by using the debug option. This would be useful to troubleshoot errors while sending mails.More work is underway to re-factor, removing plaster fixes and the like and further fine-tune the performance of xstress. The goal is to make version 0.40 stable and totally excel performance wise.Wishlist:: TLS, SSL support : GUI Front-end.
