user manual, developer manual and research report available
As promised, I have published documentation about atomsnet today. Through http://atoms.sourceforge.net/help/ you can access the user manual, developer manual and research document online. these documents have been created using LaTeX, so html, pdf and ps versions are available.
To those who actually read my posts: sorry it took me so long, I accidentally installed texi2html instead of latex2html previously. This, ofcourse, did not work ;) At least the files are here now, right?

atomsnet v1.02 released
Today I've released v1.02 of the atomsnet application in sourcecode. This version fixes
all known bugs. Due to removal of Sleep(..) calls
performance is much better than in previous versions. No new features where added.
I urge everyone to update to version 1.02 for
stability and security purposes!
the source package also contains extensive user -
and developer documentation.
a binary package (with self installer) will be made available tomorrow.

work on v1.02 underway
after quit a long time of coding inactivity I started work on version 1.02 today. I thought it would only be a day's work fixing the bugs I know exist, but unfortunately this is not the case. It should be available before thursday, though (since I'll be leaving for a few week by then).
Please submit bugs through the bugtracker (link at the top of this page), so that I can squash them.

application update and general news
the last version of atomsnet (1.01) seems to have
problems loading libraries under windows 2000
and maybe others (NT, XP?). As a result I'll distribute a new version soon to fix this and remove a possible security hole (not working).
I'm also thinking of changing the license to BSD,
since it is less restrictive for non-OSS developers.
Does anyone have remarks about this?
Finally, are there people actually using the application or it's sourcecode? Please let me know.
I've created documentation just for you ;)

I'm redrafting my research document about atomsnet for the last time today. Included as appendices are both a user manual and a developer manual. Expect to see them both online
