JAME 6.0.2 Released
JAME is a Java fractal platform which supports real-time rendering of images and animations, batched rendering, networked computation and JavaScript scripting. JAME acceprts plug-ins which provide new fractals, formulas, filters, effects, encoders and more.
This is the list of main features implemented in JAME:
JAME is a Java real-time, multi-threaded fractal graphics platform.
JAME supports images and animations.
JAME supports zoom, rotation and colors shifting.
JAME supports layers, group of layers, filters and effects.
JAME supports Mandelbrot and Julia fractals.
JAME supports DRF fractals (Distance Ratio Fractal for Complex Mapping).
JAME supports many formulas and colouring algorithms.
JAME supports orbit trap algorithms.
JAME is an OSGi application based on Equinox from Eclipse project (http://www.eclipse.org).
JAME implements the fast approximation algorithm used in Xaos (http://xaos.sf.net).
JAME uses JAI and JMF technologies to encode images and animations.
JAME uses Apache Derby database to store clips, profiles and jobs.
JAME supports JavaScript scripting based on Rhino (http://www.mozilla.org/rhino).
JAME supports networked computation based on JXTA (http://jxta.dev.java.net).
