This is FlexWiki 2.0, Release To Web (RTW) version. It is identical to FlexWiki 2.0 RC1, and the recommended version for all FlexWiki users.
This version sports many, many improvements and enhancements over 2.0
Beta 2. Among these are:
* Vastly improved performance
* New tools for editing the configuration files via the web interface
* Automated table-of-contents generation (via WikiTalk)
* Page locking (a security feature)
* Threaded message support for blog/forum-type behavior
* An all-new default stylesheet for a fresh look
* Support for file upload and page attachments
* Improved XHTML compliance
* Tons of bugfixes
This is not a complete list - there's lots more. The list of changes from the last released version (FlexWiki 1.8) is far longer.
Thanks to Derek, John, and Nathan for all the great code, and to the
FlexWiki community in general for all the excellent suggestions and
feedback.
Enjoy!

This is Release Candidate 1 of FlexWiki 2.0. Assuming we don't find
any major bugs, this release will become the final FlexWiki 2.0

This is Beta 2 of FlexWiki 2.0. Major differences from Beta 1 include:
* SQL Server once again supported as a store.
* Improved SPAM protection via optional CAPTCHA requirements.
* Added ability to require HTTPS on a namespace-by-namespace basis.
* Multiple bug fixes.
The major remaining issue is performance: Beta 2
is significantly slower than the latest released
version of FlexWiki 1.8. Performance work is
ongoing, and significant improvements are expected
before 2.0 is released, but for now production
deployment is not recommended.
Beta 2 is likely to be the last Beta before
release.

FlexWiki 2.0 Beta 1 has been released! A host of bugs have been fixed and one major new feature added. All features but one from FlexWiki 1.8 should now be working, including RSS feeds, newsletters, and the administration pages. Additionally, a new security model has been introduced (read more at http://www.flexwiki.com/default.aspx/FlexWiki/FlexWikiSecurity.html).
The one thing that isn't working right now is the SQL Server provider. If you store your content on the filesystem (the default), you don't need the SQL Server provider. It will be reimplemented in Beta 2.

This is alpha 1 of FlexWiki 2.0. It contains nothing in the way of new
functionality, but sports an extensively redesigned core that will
enable several new features to be implemented in the coming months. As
it is an alpha, bugs, crashes, and missing features are to be
expected: do not run this as your production wiki if you cannot
tolerate occasional problems.
This release requires ASP.NET 2.0.
Notably missing from this release:
* Caching. Peformance on larger wikis will likely be worse than with
FlexWiki 1.8.
* Support for SQL Server. Only filesystem-based wikis are supported.
Feedback is most definitely welcome! Submit bugs on the project
website, or to the flexwiki-users mailing list
(flexwiki-users@...).
