I wrote up a short intro on how to use the SearchIRC-Lite interface. It explains how to use the proper variables, and should assist anyone creating a differant interface for SearchIRC.

Mozilla Search Plugin released
Tonite I have released the SearchIRC Mozilla searchplugin. It uses the Sherlock-based scripting to accomplish the search.
Also, with the release of the Search Plugin, all search features (developed by me, or using my SearchIRC-lite functions) will have the ability to preform a network/server search. This is done by adding a ! (exclamation mark) BEFORE your search query. I will also be releasing a white page on the SearchIRC-Lite format soon.

SearchIRC Toolbar is on its way
Many people have wanted to have an MSIE toolbar, rather than a deskbar. I have found what I need to do it, and have a pre-alpha version ready. It needs lots of tweaking, plus I need to look into some legal issues.
Anyhow, screenshots below have both the toolbar and the deskbar open:
