I was using PyObjC to make a Cocoa application, which only ran on OS X.
To achive cross-platform-ness, I evaluated my options (Tcl/TK / Qt),
and in the end, chose Java. It is pretty good for fast, responsive user
interfaces (using Swing), and so far, I am very happy with it.
