Summary: Bad backups, unable to restore correctly
Description:
After full backup (that end w/o any errors) of several servers, on restore
we get errors, and the restored files don't match the real files, there are
two problems:
a) some files are restored with bad size (always larger); if we cut the
first N bytes (where N is the original file's size) the result and original
file match! Note that those cases are not log files ot any files that
change during the backup.
b) large number of files are not restored (speaking of tens of
thousands).
See detals for messages by director.

I am unable to duplicate this. I believe that it has something to do with
your hardware and/or your virtual system -- most likely your disk is not
getting written correctly.
Whatever the case may be, even if it is a Bacula bug, I don't have the
means to reproduce this.
Your setup is simply too complicated.
If you can produce the same thing on a simple system (no LVM, no RAID, no
VM, ...) starting with one Job at a time, then 2 simultaneous jobs, or you
find the bug in Bacula, then please reopen this bug. The other possibility
is that you ship me *all* the hardware (not to be returned) that produces
the problem, and you are willing to pay reasonable support fees.
Please do not reopen the bug otherwise.
I am sorry, but there is nothing I can do to help you. I have previously
given you *all* the ideas I have.

I forgot to ask you if you were attempting to restore multiple jobids
backed up concurrently.
Bacula only supports restoring one jobid at a time, with the exception
that it supports restoring multiple jobids if they were not run
concurrently.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not concurrent, single restore.
