Inkscape

I am trying to make a small 100x100 pixle glass sphere.  I need to
make one the looks bright and one that looks dim. (Simulating a Green
LED on and off)

Any suggestions?  The stuff I looked at already does not seem to scale
well to the required 100x100 pixels.
