That would be because that information appears to be only updated
manually.  I suppose the entire website could be rebuilt every time
there is a CVS check-in (with the config/start file being updated) but
that would seem a bit excessive.

actually, the web site is updated every 10 minutes, it gets automatically
checked out.
I used to have a portion of the script that checked that and figured it out
all automatically, but I don't anymore.

Yes, it's static right now. I was hoping that someone in the web team
who is familiar with dynamic content would come up with a solution, but
that didn't happen.

I don't actually recall it being discussed.  =)

Still, it would not be hard to do - as mandrake says the site is
automatically rebuilt every ten minutes, so all one need do is make a
small change to CVSROOT/commit.pl to modify web/e/config/start as well
as send out an email to the enlightenment-cvs mailing list.

(However, modification of the 'start' file would itself be a CVS change.
Directly editing things in the repository is Naughty ...)

Just a quick question from someone with no clue about doing dynamic html
-- what can we do on sourceforge? php? cgi?

actually, it generates the static html every 10 minutes.  There is a script
that is running as me on the web box that does it.
