The site is going to continue to undergo changes. Now that I'm getting
time to actually GET involved with this some more, the web team is
getting organized, partitioning work, and some of it is even getting
done. :) A lot of things are happening behind the scenes right now. I'm
trying to do something we've never had with the site, that is, some
living content. In the past, something'd get posted and forgotten.

A lot of the E16 content will come back in some way. I should make a
point to get that back in, though, you're right.
As far as the site "suddenly" undergoing transition, well, I told raster
things were going to get underway soon, and he took that to mean it was
time to shut the old one down. :) This all happened a few weeks before I
was getting married, so I haven't had the time to properly get things
all organized and done properly until this week.

We had one before, but it was stagnant. Only a few E developers had
access to it, and as you can imagine, they had better things to work on.
We had documentation from ages ago, and even installation instructions
from a a really, really old version (I can't remember if it was E13 or
not). Now the site is in the hands of people that are not only more
experienced at it as a regular thing, but also have time to devote to it
properly. So I would argue that only now are we beginning to really get
a web site actively devoted to E. :)
