Hi Bill. I use SDCC under MacOS X v10.1.4 daily. I started with one
of the snapshot tarballs, but I'm now running code fresh from CVS as
of a few days ago.
One thing I noticed is that GNU sed is required for configure to
Grab and install that first. Then, untar the source tarball. Type
"./configure" in the source directory and keep an eye on the output.
Assuming configure finishes ok, type "make". FYI, I'm using GNU make,
but I don't know if it's required for the build.
Keep an eye on the make output...if everything goes ok, become root
and type "make install" and you should be ready to roll.
If you run into problems, let me know what blows up and I'll see if
I can duplicate it here.
