The first frame is often black!
This hints nothing about the video being waiting for a click.

This is highly fancy but.....

=2E..isn't it counter intuitive? at least "click to play" should be written=
where, don't you think?
Besides this, if you really want to display the first video frame, mplayer=
should be called with -ao null. Otherwyse it will sometimes play a very qui=
sound, which in conjunction with a black first frame, suggests the user tha=
the video is stuck.
Also this behaviour is not what happens with the quicktime plugin on window=
