ok, I took a look at this and it works for me... with 2 things

1. you need to click the box in the top left of the mplayerplug-in window that
says "START"
2. then after that you need to right click and select play. (the EMBED is coded
with AUTOSTART=false, that is why you need to click play)

The other problem you have with streaming video playing the first clip and then
not playing the second should have been fixed in mplayerplug-in several versions
ago, but sometimes mplayer does not see a second video in the stream and does
not play it. For streaming I pass what has been given to mplayer and it is up to
mplayer to handle the stream.

I followed your instructions Kevin, but it didn't work.

It still stays stuck on 99% and when I click on start, then right click 
and select play, nothing happens.

Well it seems I am caught in .dll hell right now Kevin.

It won't play as Mplayer is expecting to find a bunch of dlls that I 
don't have in my /usr/lib/win32 directory.

(I do have all of the Win32 codecs installed though AFAIK).

I know this isn't your problem, but here is a small snipped of what has 
been happening. Each new attempt to play the file is where I have gotten 
an error message about a missing .dll, then gone on the wb and tried it 
and then tried again:

Try adding "echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq" to your system 
startup scripts.
Opening joystick device /dev/input/js0

mplayer: could not connect to socket
mplayer: No such file or directory
Failed to open LIRC support.

This is just a small snippet as it has happened about 5 times so far - 
so I was kind of wondering if there was a single codec pack somewhere 
that contained all of the DLL's that Mplayer says are missing?

My Win32 directory is already fairly well populated with codecs - just 
not these ones it seems.

Nope it looks like you are trying to use 32bit DLL's with a 64bit mplayer (this
won't work). So compile mplayer in 32bit mode and get the essential codecs from
mplayerhq.hu (if you have the rights to get them)

The error

Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load: AVIFIL32.dll, /usr/lib/win32/AVIFIL32.dll,
/usr/local/lib/win32/AVIFIL32.dll


Is the error you get when it tries to load codecs and it can't. I think it is a
bogus message.

You mplayer version message looks wierd too

I got that version of Mplayer from Mplayers own debian repository. I 
can't install 64Bit binaries in a 32 bit environment. I was trying to 
avoid compiling mplayer and mplayer plugin as I don't really have the 
time to be jumping through all of these hoops right now. (I really am 
quite busy).

But in any case in each instance where Mplayer complained about a 
missing DLL, and I have went out on the web and found it and installed 
it, the complaints about that specific dll would stop.

But after doing this 5 times now I did begin to wonder when it or if it 
would stop, or if I was missing some other codec package or something of 
this nature?
