As Jack mentioned, there's a doc/player.dox file in the Player distro
as well. Strangely, the Makefile isn't there, but in any case the
'doc' target simply runs 'doxygen player.dox'. So you can certainly
edit player.dox to produce pdf and build the docs from the distro.
We've optimized the doxygen setup for HTML over the years, so the PDF
may not look very nice. If somebody prepares a .dox file that makes
nice-looking PDF, I'd happily accept a patch to add it to the distro.
