I saw this bug even without running py2exe, and I think the problem actually
in Python 2.5 itself. `python -OO' indeed remove docstrings in Python 2.4,
but not in 2.5.

There is a comment on it that it is fixed.  Any news/idea when a new 
Python version comes out with this fix?
