[CEDET-devel] A friendlier installation mechanism?

I'm actually using cedet-1.0pre3. I can work to modify the Makefile to make it smoothly install in a gnu/linux system with the usual sequence: make make install All the packages should be installed in $(prefix)/share/emacs/$(flavour)/site-lisp. in a cedet-<revision-id> directory. No need to make any customization in the .emacs file, all the cedet libaries automatically loaded by the subdirs.el file. I could have to resort the directory structure of the distribution (the structure could be then very similiar to that of the corresponding Debian package). If it's not a problem I can start to work on it asap (as soon as I get acquainted with CVS). Greetings. |
