Thank you; I've merged this into sbcl-0.7.4.19. A small note to bear in
mind for the future is that the diff that you provided was against a
relatively old (in development terms) version (0.7.4.8 or thereabouts),
and this would have caused conflicts if I weren't editing things by hand
anyway. That's not to take away in any respect the appreciation for
people doing this kind of work; thank you again.
Since I don't have a sufficiently ancient version of cmucl to try this
with, would you mind updating to the latest CVS version and seeing if
things work? I also extended your patch to cover non-x86 versions of
nlx.lisp; I hope I got things right, but I may have made a mistake
there, too... users of non-x86 architectures may wish to check that they
can still build the system.
