I just joined the list, though I've been using Jython for a couple of
months now. (I use it with VisAD - what a combination!)
I've run into a problem compiling my Jython files into Java classes (see
subject line of this message). I searched the archives and found mention of
the same problem some months ago by Marjorie Klenin
(http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/7018/2002/3/50/8023402/) with a
comment by Kevin Butler that it might be a bug in jythonc. I checked on
SourceForge but couldn't see it ever having been submitted as a bug, and
was wondering if any progress has been made.
I know it's not a problem with my Jython/Java installation, since I've
compiled several other programs. The current project consists of about 8
classes, and this is the only one to exhibit this problem.
Marjorie reported it as a problem when she upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1. Is
going back to 2.1 the way to get around this? What other problems might I
run into with this approach?
Thanks for your help.
