1. I was in the family editor, a family in which there has never been
any entry for a mother.
2. To make reports include children (I've filed a bug about that) I
added a mother with the family name [no record].
3. To see if there is a warning message attached to removing parent's I
clicked the minus, sure enough she's gone from that family.
4. I then clicked the plus to add her again, wrong of course, so clicked
cancel, then clicked the 'select a person' icon and...
