The VXL Project

Some version of both those libraries is almost certainly there. Try a
"locate libGL.so" and "locate libGLU.so". It is possible that you have
the mesa versions, but these should work OK I believe.

I'm new to vxl so this may seem like a dumb question, but the 
directions for downloading vxl using WinCVS on the vxl instructions 
page apparently apply to a much earlier version of WinCVS than is now 
available.  I just downloaded and installed WinCVS version 2.0.2.4 
(build 4).  I believe the instructions refer to a WinCVS version 1.x 
release?  I try to use pserver to login to the soruceforge cvs server 
but get a password error message.

cvs -d 
:pserver;username=anonymous;hostname=project.cvs.sourceforge.net:D:/vxl/vxl-1.6 
checkout -P -- vxl (in directory D:\vxl\vxl-1.6)
cvs checkout: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

cvs [checkout aborted]: authorization failed: server 
project.cvs.sourceforge.net rejected access to D:/vxl/vxl-1.6 for 
user anonymous

***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The server name has changed recently; please try
hostname=vxl.cvs.sourceforge.net
and directory
/cvsroot/vxl
