A clever bit of sleuthing for logging messages in Emacs or XEmacs.
There is still a large commented out version in there.
It looks as if all messages are temporary messages. Is that
expected?

Good question. mmsg seams as good as any other.

Baby Ian is doing well. My latest big project is getting the
catapults down the the Punkin' Chunk so we can compete again this
year (Nov 5th-7th). As usual, lots of last minute preparations for
that.
