The MGA code is not yet in the SourceForge trunk, which is why you don't
see it.
The way things work is that active development happens on a
branch. There is a branch for the MGA code, that I believe is currently
in relatively good shape. The branches make break at any time. As we
think code is working it gets moved to the trunk. When we really think
it is stable we submit it to XFree.
The MGA code wasn't ready to be released in the XFree 4.0 cycle, so it
is still on the branch. The trunk contains XFree 3.9.18 with the latest
TDFX code. (More up to date than 4.0 in fact) Here's what'll be
happening soon. XFree 4.0 will get rolled into the SourceForge
trunk. The MGA code will get rolled into the trunk. Finally, when we
believe it is all stable it'll get sent to XFree for a future release.
If you're daring and can deal with the potential problems, you can get
the code off the branch. If you're a little more patient you can wait
for it to move onto the trunk. If you need something really stable you
should wait for it to appear from XFree.
By the way, I wrote all this up in such detail because this is the way
all our development works. Hopefully, it explains what is where and
when it moves from place to place.
