No, the patch message itself didn't. I think I sent you a description of
the progress of the patch in private mail some time ago, but then, that
was some time ago!

I'll try to be more careful next time, so that the original
author will surely be mentioned next time I port a patch.
There are already that many CMUCL related patches in SBCL that
mentioning the author should be enough, IMO.
Since the inline-type-test patch has not been merged yet, this could
probably wait, but since I have the information here right now:
it consists of five patches mentioned on cmucl-commit around 2000-08-06
Onto that patch: I'm in the beginning to add some more tests in
type.impure.lisp to validate the inline-type-test patch.
I hope I can send you that stuff next week.
