There's no reason why we can't make other subclasses of Servlet for
protcols other than HTTP. Of course, we'll find some minor glitches and
we'd have to reconsider the structure and role of AppServer and Application.
On the other hand, I don't have a near term need for this and probably
wouldn't crank any code on it for at least 3 months and possibly longer. So
please don't look for me to take the lead on this one, although I certainly
would provide technical support and feedback on any such effort.
