Let me see if I got it right: you're in some person's gallery (via=20
Gallery tab in the Edit Person dialog). You're clicking Add... button
and the "Select a media object" dialog pops up. You're selecting an=20
image file and the preview is displayed inside that dialog just fine.=20
When you click OK the gallery does not have this image.=20
An alternative scenario would be that the similar things happen when=20
you're in the Media View. Could you please confirm which is the case?
Also, if the former is the case, could you switch to Media View and see
if the image in question there by any chance?

So, that means that when this problem occurs nothing new is printed to=20
the terminal (where you started gramps from), right?
