The blimp model in Gazebo release 0.4 was not updated to reflect changes to
the gazebo position interface. There is now only one position interface in
gazebo with 6 degrees of freedom. The 2D / 3D distinction is in player and
its clients. I'll update the blimp model in CVS to pass through the
additional states and commands. Once that's done, you'll be able to use both
the position and position3D player interfaces.
It looks like gz_position3d.cc is passing positions values 1000 times too
large and angle values 3600 times too large. I'll fix this. You will need to
get files for both gazebo and player from CVS to make this work. I'll let you
know when I've made and checked the changes.
(Longer term I'll add dynamics to the blimp. At the moment it is kinematic.)
