Yes, I will try as soon as time permits. I have just completed a
native mingw bootstrap and will test first before applying Donn's
patches. Had 2 minor problems with native bootstrap:
1) the new va-list typedefs in stdargs.h varargs.h and stdio.h needed
to be guarded with
#if defined __GNUC__ && __GNUC__ >= 3
to get to stage1.
2) forgot to pass --with-gcc (or something) to libtool. Without this
libtool tries to to use ms lib.exe rather than ar to build c++ libs. I
need to get up to speed with libtool to find the real problem.
Once I've done some tests with this native build as well as yours I
will try to add Donn's patches and recompile to see if Donn's testcase
I will not have much time though until Monday (NZ time).
Anyway, I am amazed at the progress you have made in such short time.
