Yes, I posted on cedet-devel asking for some testing before posting
to gnu.emacs.sources. I also asked for testing from ecb-devel. In
fact I've posted several messages to which no one has responded
recently. I'll have to go check the archives.

I tried creating a `snapshot', but it returned errors and I haven't
had time to figure out why. I may have to go tag it by hand.

I agree. In the past, I've been keeping the old tar files around,
but that is becoming a pain.

That seems reasonable. I should be able to tag what is in my area
based on those version numbers.
