Mailing lists? Can maybe be done, but I don't believe it's their first
task. Sections are used to show articles that are not "interesting
enough" for the homepage. The better example, as usual, is Slash with
sections like 'Apache', 'Developers', 'YRO', etc.

Remember that templates are cached in a number of ways. You cannot tell
