is there a way to specify an alternate location for the semantic.cache
file?

our project 'roots' are shared directories and I dont want to clutter
them up - I'd like to be able to save the caches under my home
directory somehow.

See the variable `semanticdb-default-save-directory'.  This will
change where those files are saved.
