The changes in this release are as follows:
Better cdrecord error messages are produced for short tracks. Cdrecord
now scans for 256 SCSI busses to overcome a Linux kernel design
problem with USB. Better mkisofs "System ID" support was added.
Better mkisofs error messages are produced for impossible
multisession constraints. Two mkisofs malloc()/free() bugs were
fixed. An attempt is made to deal with degenerated ISO-9660 filenames
in ISO-9660:1999 mode. Win32 SPTI support was enhanced for multi Bus
SCSI PCI cards.  

Project description:
cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs with a CDR/CDRW
recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications. It
supports CD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc-
and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work. Supported features
include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data
CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session support, CDRWs (rewritable),
TAO, DAO, RAW, and human-readable error messages. cdrtools includes
remote SCSI support and can access local or remote CD writers.
