Please try an update to a more recent gvim and report back. There were
some particularly nasty bugs in the .0 release. (You can currently
find a package of gVim 6.2.225 with Cream 0.28 on the Cream site.)
There have been reports (and I myself have experienced) a bug or two
saving files (swap?) across a network, but we can investigate that
once we're sure it's not Vim.
